Noah Kashiani (b. 1992) lives and works in Chicago, Illinois. He received his MFA from Northern Illinois University and BA from the University of Mount Union. As a first-generation Iranian American, his work considers how dominant systems reshape cultures and the human experience in pursuit of profit and power. Kashiani borrows the visual language of commodity culture, glamorizing the assimilative nature of human consumption while exploiting our vulnerability to the American Dream.
